Vincenzo Bernardelli S.p.A. (also referred to as Bernardelli) was an Italian firearms manufacturing company, founded in 1721 by Vincenzo Bernardelli. The P010 was introduced in 1989 as a high precision rimfire target pistol. Its a rather large pistol with a barrel length of just under 6“ and an empty weight of 39.2oz. The P010 features finely stippled target stocks, adjustable rear sights, an finely adjustable trigger. It also features all-steel construction. The front part and the top rib of the “slide” are actually attached to the frame itself, while the actual slide is just the rear portion that moves with the recoil. The safety is a lever on the left side of the frame and impossible to reach with the right hand in a shooting position. The mag release is on the heel of the grip frame. They were imported by Magnum Research in the early 1990's. As you can see from the “AU” date code, this was also built in 1989, the year they were introduced.
