The Smith & Wesson 5943 Short Slide Variation was produced in 1991 with an overall total of 3,277 produced, making them feverishly sought after by collectors around the world!

The Smith & Wesson 5900 series is a collection of semi-automatic pistols that belong to the S&W "Third-Generation" and are all chambered for the 9x19mm cartridge. The 5900s include twelve variants, all of which are popular due to the 9mm cartridge. The usual variants are the 5903, 5904, 5905, 5906, 5924, 5926, 5943, 5944, 5946, and 5967, while the budget versions are the 910 and 915.
 
 
The Smith & Wesson 5943 SSV is a unique variant produced only in 1991 with a total production of 3277. It is a short-slide variant that features a compact 3.5-inch barrel and a blue finished slide with a stainless steel frame. It employs a double-action-only slide from the 6946, just like the 5903 SSV. Additionally, the 5943 SSV boasts night sights, making it stand out from the other variants, and because of the limited number produced, these examples are quite collectible for Smith & Wesson collectors.

The owner states that this example remains New Old Stock and we see no evidence to indicate otherwise! This example will ship with the matching factory-labeled box, one extra magazine, cleaning tools, and paperwork!
