The Remington XP-100 (from eXperimental Pistol number 100) is a bolt-action pistol produced by Remington Arms from 1963 to 1998. The XP-100 was one of the first handguns designed for long-range shooting and introduced the .221 Fireball and 6×45mm. The XP-100 was noted for its accuracy and is still viewed as competitive today in the sport of handgun varminting, which it helped create, as well as in metallic silhouette shooting.
The Remington XP-100 Custom is a single shot bolt-action rifle that was only available by the Remington Custom Shop from 1986 to 1994 and came with a variety of options to choose from. Produced in 1992, this Remington XP-100 Custom is a first year of production example that is chambered in .22-250 and features a blue finish, 15 1/2" heavy barrel, mounted scope rings providing you the ability to mount a optic of your choosing and a smooth walnut stock with finger grooves and a thumb rest providing a comfortable feel that increases accuracy.
