This commemorative pistol is in near new condition and was produced in honor of the United States Navy and the men and women who are serving and have served through the years, America Remembers proudly presents this M1911 pistol. Issued on the classic military Colt Government Model Pistol, this pistol is decorated with artwork honoring all those who have proudly served in the United States Navy.
Crafted of the finest blued and parkerized steel, this magnificent firearm is made by Colt Manufacturing Company, Inc. in Hartford, Connecticut, and is fully functional. Featuring the familiar sleek lines and efficient design that has made the Colt .45 a legend, this is a sidearm carried by Naval officers and sailors for many years. Each pistol is decorated by craftsmen commissioned specifically for this issue by America Remembers. Etched in 24-karat gold on the left and right sides of the slide are beautiful hand-decorated images and words reflecting the spirit and history of the United States Navy.
Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this Colt is in Phenomenal condition showing no indications of consumer use or handling that we can see! Additionally, it will come with the original wood presentation case.
