This particular firearm is a Smith & Wesson Model 10-10, manufactured per the Brazilian Contract Model standards. The product code 100135 confirms that it was produced in the year 1994. The revolver boasts a full lug 3-inch barrel, which means the barrel is attached to the frame via a full-length metal shroud, providing greater stability and accuracy. Moreover, it also features a full-length extractor that ensures more reliable and consistent extraction of spent cartridges. The round butt frame of the revolver makes it comfortable to grip and hold, thereby allowing for better control while firing.

In production since 1899, the Model 10 is a six-shot, .38 Special, double-action revolver with fixed sights. Over its long production run, it has been available with barrel lengths of 2 in, 3 in, 4 in, 5 in, and 6 in. Barrels of 2.5 inches are also known to have been made for special contracts. Some 6,000,000 of the type have been produced over the years, making it the most-produced handgun of the 20th century.
