In 1993, the company produced a special edition of this model, with a total of 450 units featuring a 2.5-inch barrel. These revolvers were serial numbered within the range of BPD5671 to BPD6122. Each unit included distinctive features such as a red ramp front sight, a white outline rear sight, a blue finish, and fancy wood finger groove combat grips, with a product code of 103500. Following this, a second group of 285 units was manufactured in 1994, serial numbered from BRF3672 to BRF3957. Notably, the example in question bears the serial number BRF3819, indicating it belongs to this later production run.
