This is a limited edition model 1895 that Marlin Firearms produced to commemorate their 125th Anniversary and the 100th Anniversary of the model 1895 and is known as the 1895CLTD “Century Limited”. The 1895CLTD comes with an engraved receiver, which is floral engraved by Bottega C. Giovanelli. The left side of the receiver is engraved with two bears in a mountain scene and two banners that read "MODEL 1895" and “100th ANNIVERSARY”. The right side of the receiver is engraved with a gentleman on horseback clutching a rifle, surrounded by scroll engraving and a banner that reads “MARLIN FIREARMS CO 125th ANNIVERSARY”. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope mount and is marked "MARLIN SAFETY" amid light floral engraving. Only 2500 of these examples were manufactured, making them very collectible for any firearm collector!
