Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Smith & Wesson Models 908, 908s, 909, 910, and 915 are semi-automatic pistols that use 9mm ammunition. These pistols are part of the Value Series and use a short-recoil-operated double-action/single action (DA/SA) mechanism. All of them have a stainless steel barrel, an aluminum alloy frame, and either a carbon steel or stainless steel slide.
The S&W Model 915 was manufactured between 1992 to 1994, while the S&W Model 910 was produced from 1995 to 2006 as a replacement for the Model 915. The S&W Models 908, 908s, and 909 are variants of the Model 3914, Model 3913, and Model 3904, respectively. They have aluminum alloy frames and steel slides. Like the 910 and 915, the 908, 908s, and 909 have certain machine operations and part changes to reduce costs.
The 908 and 908s are compact models, similar to the Model 3914, and use a single-stack magazine that can hold eight rounds. On the other hand, the Model 909 is a full-size pistol similar to the Model 3904 with a 9-round single-stack magazine. The 908 and 909 have a blued carbon steel slide and aluminum alloy frame. But the 908s has a stainless steel slide and barrel, along with an aluminum alloy frame.
The owner states that this example remains New Old Stock and we see no evidence to indicate otherwise. This example will ship with the matching factory labeled box, one extra magazine and paperwork!
