Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Ruger 77/22 is a bolt-action rimfire rifle that comes in three different chamberings: .22 Long Rifle, .22 WMR, or .22 Hornet. It features a removable rotary magazine that allows it to fit flush with the bottom of the stock. The 77/22 was first introduced in 1983 and is based on the centerfire Model 77 Mark II. This rifle has an ultra-fast lock time and a 3-position safety similar to the one found on the Ruger Model 77 Mk. II and Winchester Model 70 centerfire rifles. The safety is located at the right rear of the action. The Ruger .22 LR barrels are hammer-forged and rifled with a six-groove, 1:9" twist. However, iron sights are not included with any Model 77/22 rifle. The receiver has Ruger's patented integral scope mounting bases, and all 77/22 rifles come with Ruger's steel rings (not included in this example).
The M77/22 rifles are equipped with a detachable, 10-shot, rotary magazine that is known for its reliability. The magazine is made of glass-filled nylon and has stainless steel lips. It fits flush with the bottom of the rifle, giving it a clean look. This particular model (07021) has a brown laminated hardwood stock and a stainless steel barreled action that is finished in Ruger's low-glare, corrosion-resistant Target Grey. The heavy contour barrel is 24 inches long, and the rifle is 43.25 inches long and weighs between 7.5 and 7.75 pounds. The Ruger Model 77/22 was designed to be an elegant small game and target rifle, with universal appeal and a balanced style. It is perfect for keeping your hunting skills sharp during the off-season.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3-day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
