According to the included factory letter this Colt was shipped to Walter Craig Inc. at New Orville Road Selma, Alabama on March 6, 1997. Also the letter also states that only 1000 of these EXTRAORDINARY models were ever produced with this example being the ULTRA LOW SERIAL being #4.

According to the included factory letter, "The Legend" is the first Colt firearm to be officially sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. As the first edition Colt Rodeo revolver, this arm represents another milestone in the lineage of Colt historical and collectible firearms. This example is SIMPLY BREATHTAKING. Not only is the appearance something of amazment, but the completeness of this package is Extraordinary.
Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this Smith is what we believe to be New Old Stock, showing no indications of previous consumer use or handling that we can see whatsoever! Additionally, it will ship with all the Original Accessories that is spoken of in the factory letter. This includes the Original Glass top oak presentation case with French fit Colt blue interior, the original factory shipped Galco holster and rig featuring a brass Colt serpentine logo medallion and all other original contents pictured!
