Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Model Seven was introduced in 1983. It is available in a wide variety of calibers and finishes, and can also be configured for left-handed shooters.

The Model Seven's action is based on the action of the Model 700, except that the Model Seven is about half the length of the Model 700. It is stated to deliver the highest accuracy in a small package. The weapon's stock can either be made of polymer or wood, though wooden-stocked versions are more commonly seen. The weapon has a slightly smaller four-round internal magazine with a hinged buttplate.
