The 1895G model comes with a hammer block safety, a 4-shot tube magazine, and a richly blued steel finish. The American black walnut straight grip stock features cut checkering, a ventilated recoil pad, and swivel studs. Weighing only 7 lbs, the Model 1895G offers the big-game-dropping performance of the 45-70 Gov't in a compact size. The rifle has an 18½" ported barrel with Ballard-style cut rifling.
