Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
This is a Marlin Model 1897 Cowboy made in 1999. The history of .22 lever-action Marlin rifles goes back to 1891 with improvements in 1892 when front-loading tubes were introduced, 1897 when the takedown receiver was introduced and in 1921 the model was re-designated the Model 39, which continues in production today. This 1897 Cowboy takes the action of the oldest and longest continuously produced rifle in the world and pairs it with the styling of their popular 1894 Cowboy series with checkered, straight-grip stocks and 24″ tapered octagon barrel.

Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this Marlin is what we believe to be most likely New Old Stock, showing no evidence of consumer use or handling that we can see! Additionally, it will ship with the factory labeled box and all contents pictured above.
