Item Description
Bryant Ridge Auction Company is pleased to present this sought after semi-auto pistol today for a penny start auction, this is the Beretta FS 86 Cheetah!
Among the rarest of the classic .380 Beretta models, the 86 features a tip-up barrel system actuated by a lever on the right side of the pistol much like the smaller Jetfire and Tomcat, allowing the user to skip cycling the slide and place a round directly into the chamber. Otherwise, this pistol is a standard 81-series pistol, and takes the same single stack .380 ACP magazines as the 85.

Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
This is a highly desired little pistol and perhaps the coolest of the Cheetahs; while the other models still see occasional production runs, the 86 has been out of production for years and makes for both a great part of any collection of European handguns and a highly practical pistol for people with reduced grip strength. The Beretta 86 Cheetah is modeled after the company’s legendary Model 92 F, sporting a single stack magazine grip frame for a far less bulky profile, adding to its usefulness as a concealed carry item. Beretta’s pistols are famous not only for their accuracy but for their rugged construction, earning military and police contracts throughout the 20th century. With the tip-up barrel feature, it aids those who have trouble cocking back the slide, it will do great for older or more fragile hands with reduced recoil on a medium frame format. This should prove to be just as dependable and if you’re looking for a concealed carry or home defense pistol with less kick than a 9mm Parabellum, give this one a look.

This example will ship with the factory matching box, Beretta hard case, factory papers and a factory pack of tools seen pictured above!
