Bryant Ridge Auction Company is pleased to present this phenomenal and classically styled semi-auto pistol today for a penny start auction, this is the Colt M1911A1 WWII Replica Model O!
This pistol was produced in 2001 by Colt's Custom Shop and was released to the civilian market. It was a reproduction of a parkerized WWII USGI M1911A1 Pistol. Close to 4,000 units would be produced before production ended in December of 2004.
These pistols are parkerized with composite style stocks. It features a W.B. inspectors stamp on the left side below the slide stop which would be similar to what is found on a 1942 production M1911A1.

The 1911 and 1911-A1 pistols served the military of the United States from 1911 to 1985, through two World Wars and the Korean and Vietnam wars. They gained a reputation as a reliable handgun with plenty of stopping power, and are held in high regard by those who have used them. This pistol was produced in 2001 by Colt's Custom Shop and was released to the civilian market. It was a reproduction of a parkerized WWII USGI M1911A1 Pistol. Close to 4,000 units would be produced before production ended in December of 2004.
