Colt's Model 1873, better known as the Single Action Army (SAA), holds the title of the "gun that won the West" and is arguably the most iconic handgun in history. For nearly 150 years, this revolver has been produced in a variety of configurations, finishes, and calibers, maintaining its status as a symbol of the American frontier. The Single Action Army revolutionized the way firearms were used during the late 19th century, and its design continues to influence revolvers to this day. The Rodeo Model, featuring a 4 ¾" barrel, is one of the most recognizable versions of this legendary revolver. While this particular example is a USFA reproduction, it comes incredibly close to a true Colt in terms of build and design, offering collectors and enthusiasts a high-quality alternative without the premium cost of a genuine Colt.
