Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Colt 1991 Series (1991-2001 ORM; 2001-present NRM) is a modified version of the M1911A1 military model. It uses the slide of the MKIV Series 80 and is designed to provide a more affordable "mil-spec" pistol compared to Colt's other 1911 models. It was created to compete with imported pistols from manufacturers like Springfield Armory and Norinco. The 1991-2001 models feature a large "M1991A1" roll mark engraved on the slide, while the 2001 model has a new "Colt's Government Model" roll mark engraving. The 1991 series includes full-sized blued and stainless models in either .45 ACP or .38 Super, as well as blued and stainless Commander models in .45 ACP.
The Chinese Dragon, also known as the loong, long, or lung, is a legendary creature deeply rooted in Chinese mythology, folklore, and culture. Chinese dragons can take on many animal-like forms such as turtles and fish, but they are most commonly depicted as snake-like with four legs. Academicians have identified four reliable theories regarding the origin of the Chinese dragon: snakes, Chinese alligators, thunder worship, and nature worship. Traditionally, Chinese dragons symbolize potent and auspicious powers, especially control over water.
