The Colt Silver Dragon is a TALO Exclusive Model that was released in 2004 with only 200 units produced. These models are identified by a special serial range that starts from SDG001 and ends with SDG200. Theis example has the serial number of SDG129. The gun features a striking multi-tone etching of a Baron-inspired dragon in gold, copper, and nickel, which covers the barrel of a bright stainless 1070 Stainless steel slide on an XSE frame. These firearms are quite rare, and it is infrequent to find them on the open market!
The Government is the sister model to such classics as the National Match, Gold Cup Trophy, Super 38, and Commander models.
The owner states that this example remains New Old Stock and we see no evidence to indicate otherwise.

The Colt XSE Series features everything that top shooters demand in a pistol. The foundation for these pistols is a forged receiver, a forged steel slide, a forged stainless steel barrel, and a forged steel slide stop. Front and rear slide serrations come standard, along with Novak® sights. The Colt Upswept Beavertail Grip Safety with Palm Swell and enhanced cut under the trigger guard allow for a secure hold on the pistol. The Colt Tactical Ambidextrous Safety Lock allows for either right or left-handed operation. Adding a one-piece, full-length guide rod rounds out a pistol suited perfectly for the shooting enthusiast or the personal defense user alike.
