The Remington 7400 is a wonderful hunting rifle. The larger caliber penetrates even dense undergrowth well and this semi auto rifle is easily handled. These feature as well as a great balancing point, near the receiver, makes this firearm a hunting rifle that is highly rated.
The Remington Model 7400 is a series of semi-automatic rifles manufactured by Remington Arms. The Model 7400 was a replacement of the Model 740 rifle which Remington produced from 1952 to 1981. The 7400 model was ultimately replaced by the Model 750 in 2006. The 7400 was manufactured from 1981 to 2005 and was very similar to the Remington Model Four. Major differences included a checkered pistol-grip and straight comb stock.
