In 2006, Remington celebrated the 100-year anniversary of the .30-06 Springfield with a Limited-Edition Model 700 SF (Stainless Fluted). This model combines precision and hunting performance with a stainless steel action and barrel, as well as an American Walnut stock with a beautiful finish and an engraved floorplate to honor the 100th anniversary of the .30-06 Springfield cartridge.
