In 2008 - 2009 Marlin issued the .410 XLR model with checkered brown laminate and stainless steel barrel & receiver. This model also had a longer 24.00” barrel. The Marlin .410 lever action is a relatively unknown firearm by many however they are a true pleasure to own and shoot. From squirrel, rabbit, raccoon, turkey, quail, pheasant and hog and even deer these shotguns are capable of handling all of these with a skilled shooter. The two latter game animals with slugs of course. Marlin has presented the public with limited offerings throughout the years.
