The Ruger Single-Six is a single-action rimfire revolver produced by Sturm, Ruger & Co. The Single-Six was first released in June 1953.
The Single-Six is currently produced as the New Model Single-Six. The term "New Model" simply means that this model includes Ruger's transfer bar mechanism for increased safety, allowing one to carry the revolver safely with all six chambers loaded.
Prior to 1973, the Single-Six was produced without the transfer bar mechanism, making it less safe to carry with all six chambers loaded, and with the hammer resting on a loaded chamber.The transfer bar safety allows the revolver to fire only when the trigger has been pulled. Ruger provides the transfer bar safety upgrade free of charge for owners of any old model Single-Six.
Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, these Rugers are what we believe to be PRISTINE condition showing no evidence of consumer use or handling that we can see! Additionally, they will ship with the factory labeled boxes and all contents pictured above!

These are 32 H&R Magnum caliber in polished stainless with 3 and 3/4 inch barrels (well balanced, unique barrel length). These pieces have Traditional Western sculpted engraving with JW initials on back-straps & JW signature on the barrels. A Red River Brand on left side plates is also seen. These models had special factory serial numbers DUKE001-DUKE1250 with these two pieces being on the lower-numbered end of the production!
The grips are a special checkered JW black ebony with a Ruger medallion. Commemorative insert & special outer packaging included as well...!
