The Sig 1911-22 was only produced for four years, from 2011 to 2014, and came in a variety of limited finishes. This particular model has a Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finish, which was produced from 2012 to 2014.

The 1911 pistol in .22 caliber combines classic design with innovative features. Sig maintained the original design and measurements, adhering to "Mil-Spec" specifications in inches. However, they also added modern safety features like magazine safety, drop safety, and firing pin safety to meet current standards. The pistol is constructed from Chiappalloy and steel components and comes with two-piece walnut grips with laser checkering. It lives up to the 1911 name, offering unparalleled sport shooting without any compromises.
