The Ruger GP100 Wiley Clapp edition, a Talo Distributors exclusive, was developed in collaboration with esteemed firearms writer Wiley Clapp. Offered in two distinct finish options—matte stainless steel and Hawkeye matte blue over alloy steel—this variant features a 3-inch barrel, Novak Lo-Mount wide-notch rear sight, cushioned rubber grips with fingerprint-checkered wood inserts, and specific front sight pairings: a green fiber-optic on the stainless model and a brass bead on the matte-blue version. Clapp’s signature ergonomic refinements, known as “melting,” bevel, and smooth key areas of the barrel, trigger guard, frame, and cylinder to eliminate sharp edges and improve comfort for carry and holstering.
