The 1911 Traditional Match Elite is a firearm model that features the recognizable "round-top" 1911 slide profile, front cocking serrations, and a lightweight, three-hole trigger. All models come with a match-grade barrel, flat mainspring housing, and a speed bump grip safety. The front straps have 25LPI checking, while the mainspring housing has 20LPI for optimum grip and user comfort.
The 1911 Traditional Match Elite is the first SIG SAUER 1911 to be offered in a caliber other than .45 Auto. The Match Elite comes in three models: .45ACP, 9mm, and .40S&W. The .45ACP model is two-tone with a natural stainless steel frame and a Nitron-coated slide. The 9mm and .40S&W models are full-sized and feature a natural stainless slide and frame, white controls, and adjustable target sights. All Match Elite models come with custom wood checkered grips.
