This Colt Defender features an Officer frame with a 3-inch barrel and is part of a limited TALO run of just 300 units produced in November 2015. The frame is finished in Cerakote Stone Grey, while the slide and grip safety are cerakoted in Smith’s Grey. The pistol also includes distinctive blue accents on the trigger, slide stop, safety, and special Colt logo grips.
According to the owner, “As the original owner of this firearm, I can confirm that it was carried briefly and exhibits only minor holster wear. It has a low round count and was cleaned promptly after each range session. The firearm includes all the items originally shipped from the factory and the two magazines that came with it.”

In November 2015, TALO Distributors collaborated with Colt to produce a limited run of these pistols, including 300 units each of the Stone Grey Government and Defender .45 models. This special edition features a Cerakote Stone Grey frame, with the slide and grip safety finished in Smith’s Grey and accentuated by a distinctive blue trigger, slide stop, and safety. The special Colt logo grips further distinguish this model. The factory completed the production swiftly and at an advantageous price, but due to its limited run, this specific color combination will not be replicated. Future collaborations may explore other unique color options if permitted by Colt. This limited edition, with its rare finish and configuration, is highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike.
