The Walther Creed is a full-size, hammer-fired 9mm semi-automatic pistol introduced in late 2016 as a budget-friendly yet dependable option in Walther’s handgun lineup. Though often mistaken for a striker-fired design due to its enclosed, pre-cocked double-action-only trigger system and smooth 6.5-pound pull, the Creed uses a bobbed internal hammer. It features a 4-inch cold-hammer forged barrel, a Tenifer-coated steel slide, and a durable polymer frame with an ergonomic, non-slip textured grip. Designed with usability in mind, it offers front and rear slide serrations, low-profile 3-dot steel sights, and a Picatinny accessory rail. While the Creed lacks an ambidextrous slide stop, it includes a reversible magazine release, making it suitable for both left- and right-handed shooters.
