The Ruger LCR Double-Action Revolver is a lightweight, easy-to-handle concealed carry firearm that allows for quick target acquisition. The LCR (Lightweight Compact Revolver) boasts an innovatively designed monolithic frame constructed from aerospace-grade 7000 series aluminum, a streamlined fluted stainless steel cylinder, and a stainless steel barrel insert that is threaded into the aluminum frame. The frame's non-reflective matte black finish is ideal for self-defense weapons. To keep the overall weight to a minimum, the LCR features a polymer grip frame that houses all the fire control components. The LCRx also has an exposed hammer that allows for precise single action shooting. Thanks to Ruger's refined trigger geometry and spring rates, the double-action trigger pull on the LCR is as smooth as silk. The non-stacking trigger allows a shooter to maintain a constant sight picture while cycling the cylinder and firing the revolver. The front-sight blade can be easily replaced with aftermarket sight options and is pinned to the frame, while the fixed rear sight consists of a groove on the top of the frame.
