Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The MPX K AR pistol has an unconventional design, unmatched performance, and familiar AR handling. It is completely ambidextrous with a dual-sided selector switch, magazine release, charging handle, and bolt release. The SIG MPX operates from a fully closed and locked rotating bolt, and a short-stroke gas piston allows it to run all weights and brands of 9mm ammunition with no adjustments to the gas valve. The model features a 4.5" barrel, a telescoping three-position Pistol Stabilizing Brace, and a short aluminum key mod handguard with a hand stop. Additionally, a full-length Picatinny rail allows for solid and consistent mounting of optics and targeting lasers. With this new level of operator safety, in-field adaptability, and proven reliability in the harshest environments, Sig's MPX redefines the submachine gun category.
