SIG SAUER, Inc. of Newington, New Hampshire, certifies that this firearm is an authentic U.S. Army-issued weapon that was fielded during the initial domestic and in-theatre deployment of the Modular Handgun System Program. The weapon was manufactured under contract with the U.S. Army and meets the original specifications, color, and configuration of the MHS Program. This includes the coyote external controls, orange and green night sights, magazines, markings, components, and coatings. Additionally, the firearm features the original exclusive government serial number!

The M17 Surplus is a handgun platform that fires 9mm rounds and is based on the P320 design. It has a coyote-tan PVD-coated stainless steel slide, controls, and a medium carry grip module in the same color. The U.S. Government slide markings and serial numbers add to its authenticity. The handgun comes equipped with SIGLITE sights with orange rear and green front, removable night sight rear plates, and the same optic cut as specified by the MHS contract. It is ready to fit a SIG SAUER Electro-Optics ROMEO1Pro Optic. The M17 has an ambidextrous manual safety and comes with one 17-round and two 21-round magazines. It comes with an official SIG SAUER M17 Certificate of Authenticity and is packed just like the handguns that are delivered to the U.S. Military.
