The Armalite AR-10(T) rifle is a versatile firearm that can be used for target shooting, sport, and tactical purposes. It is a newer version of the AR-10 semi-automatic rifle, which evolved from the original AR-10 and AR-15/M16 rifles. Armalite manufactures the AR-10(T) and offers fast second-shot capability, high accuracy, and excellent tactical flexibility. While competing in the US Army XM110 trials, the Armalite AR-10(T) rifle lost out to Knight's SR-25 rifle, which shares many similarities with the Armalite version. The Armalite AR-10(T) rifle is a semi-automatic rifle that uses a direct impingement gas system and rotary bolt locking. Its two-part receiver is made from aluminum alloy, while its furniture and stock are made from impact-resistant polymer. The standard configuration of the Armalite AR-10(T) rifle includes a Picatinny-type accessory rail on the top receiver, which allows for the quick installation of a wide variety of telescopes, IR/Night sights, and other accessories.

But Here's the thing: When loaded with 180-grain bullets, the .338 kicks out more muzzle energy than a 7mm Remington Magnum pushing 160-grain bullets. It recoils less than a .30/06 throwing 180-grain bullets and at 300 yards drops only a measly 1/2-inch more. If that doesn't impress you, look at it this way. Load 210-grain bullets in a .338 Winchester Magnum and a .338 Federal. Zero both for their Maximum Point Blank Ranges (MBPR). At 300 yards the Federal will drop just 1.5 inches more than the Winchester Magnum. And it'll slap your shoulder with 12ft/lbs less recoil.
