The Armalite AR-10(T) rifle is a highly versatile firearm that can be used for target shooting, sports, and tactical purposes. It is an upgraded version of the AR-10 semi-automatic rifle, which evolved from the original AR-10 and AR-15/M16 rifles. Armalite manufactures the AR-10(T), which offers fast second-shot capability, high accuracy, and excellent tactical flexibility. While participating in the US Army XM110 trials, the Armalite AR-10(T) lost to Knight's SR-25 rifle, which shares many similarities with the Armalite version.
The Armalite AR-10(T) rifle is a semi-automatic rifle that utilizes a direct impingement gas system and rotary bolt locking. Its two-part receiver is made of aluminum alloy, while its furniture and stock are made of impact-resistant polymer. The standard configuration of the Armalite AR-10(T) rifle includes a Picatinny type accessory rail on the top receiver, which allows for the quick installation of a wide variety of telescopes, IR/Night sights, and other accessories.
