New for 2020, the Liberty 1911 was the latest patriotic commemorative pistol from Auto-Ordnance. Echoing the sentiments of our Founding Fathers in warning all tyrants to tread on American liberty at their peril. Freedom loving patriots have always been prepared to oppose tyranny with the ferocity of a poisonous snake. No better symbol of that exists than the Gadsden Flag, with its legendary motto “Don’t Tread on Me!”

With GI specs and features, experienced shooters will find the fit and function comfortable and familiar. New shooters will find the controls exceptional and intuitive. The carbon steel slide, sear and disconnector are precision machined from solid bar stock and proper heat treated to give you thousands of rounds of long life and durability. Arguably, the most famous and widely recognized and respected handgun in the world, the 1911 is combat proven. This example from Auto-Ordnance will be well suited to any task you ask of it, from professional duty weapon to competition or personal defense and concealed carry.
The Liberty Special Edition from Auto Ordnance features a laser engraved custom slide and frame. On the right is Liberty…Death around the original Presidential Seal and on the left is Don't…Tread entwined by the Gadsden snake. Beautifully engraved Goncalo wood grips feature the Liberty Bell surrounded by 13 stars on the right, with the modern phrasing of "DTOM" on the left for 'Don't Tread On Me'. It's a great piece of highly functional classic Americana! To further enhance the appearance of this iconic pistol, it's coated with a durable almost antique looking brown and black custom Cerakote finish.
