Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
Between 1880 and 1914 when World War One, The Great War or The War To End All Wars (choose one) cut off exports from Europe, thousands of inexpensive double barrel shotguns were imported into the United States. The guns bore a myrid of names and today are known as either "Trade Brand Name" shotguns or Just Another Belgian Clunker (JABC). The first name I gave was made by a Belgian maker known as Simonis, Janssen & Dumoulin while the second name was used by an importer named Henrich Boker & Company located in new York City. They used the name on Belgian made guns they imported. The letters "ELG" in an oval with a star and a crown above is a Belgian proof mark. A note about these guns. The guns were designed and made using the technology and metallurgy of the times when they were made and for the ammunition in use back then which was 2 1/2 inch shells loaded with black powder and lead shot. The guns have damascus barrels (LAMINATED STEEL). The guns were not designed or made for modern ammunition, 2 9/16 inch, 2 3/4 inch and especially not 3 inch or magnum shells loaded with any smokeless powder or steel shot.
Return Policy:
We gladly offer a 3 day unfired inspection policy from the time that the firearm is delivered to your FFL. Refunds are available for all qualifying orders.
