The Beretta Model 1934 is an Italian compact, semi-automatic pistol which was issued as the service pistol of the Royal Italian Army beginning in 1934. It is chambered for the 9mm Corto, more commonly known as the .380 ACP. Beretta serialized these Model 1934s using 6-digits then later in 1942 switched to single letters 'F' and 'G' along with 5-digits and when they reached F99999 and at about G57490 they began using 4-leading digits with double
