The Beretta 21A Bobcat is a semi-automatic pocket pistol originally designed by Beretta in Italy and introduced for production in late 1984 at the Beretta U.S.A. facility in Accokeek, Maryland. It evolved from the Beretta Model 20, which ceased production in 1985. Available chambered in .22 LR or .25 ACP (6.35 mm), the Beretta 21A operates on a simple blowback mechanism with a single- and double-action trigger system and an exposed hammer. The magazine release button is situated on the left side grip between the retaining screws. The frame is crafted from aluminum alloy, while the slide and barrel are made from either carbon steel or stainless steel, depending on the model variant.
