There are three over and unders that carry the Garcia-Beretta name. Each is a superlative example of the gunmaker's art, reflecting in the hairline fitting of wood to metal, the perfect balance and crisp handling, the quiet beauty that only skilled hands can impart, a tradition of quality and integrity passed on from father to son for fifteen centuries. This respect for tradition, combined with the most modern steels and precise heattreating of each perfectly fitted part, is what makes a Beretta over and under the lifetime possession that it is.
There are many good over and under shotguns on the market, and most of them are as alike as peas in a pod. Except one, Beretta. Take the receiver, for instance, even with its great strength, the receiver on a 12 gauge Beretta has about the same profile as most other 20 gauge huns. The 20 gauge receiver is correspondily smaller, the result? Lighter weight and better balance, and a slim clean look no other gun comes close.
There are five Beretta BL over and unders to choose from, ranging from the double-trigger BL-1, to the BL-4 Windsor Grade, with ventilated rib, single selective trigger and auto ejectors, all the way up to the exquisitely engraved BL-5. There are three grades of trap guns with full/full or improved modified/full chokings, and three grades of skeet guns, in both 26 and 28 inch barrel lengths, and in 12, 20, and 28 gauge. When it was manufactured, the BL-5 was considered the highest grade of boxlock produced by Beretta.
Condition and Contents:
As you can see in the many high resolution photos, this Beretta is in Excellent condition showing no evidence of regular consumer use or handling that we can see!
