The BPI-Connecticut Valley Wolf Magnum is a .50 caliber black powder rifle with a blued nitride finish. It features a 24-inch barrel and is equipped with a bead front sight (flat head screw), and a ramp base rear sight, though the sight leaf is missing. The rifle also includes scope bases for mounting optics. The stock and foregrip are made of black synthetic material, providing durability and a firm grip. The rifle operates with a black powder action and bears standard manufacturer markings. The WOLF also features CVA’s QRBP (Quick-Release Breech Plug) – the only truly tool-free removal breech plug on the market today. Even after 20 or more shots, the QRBP comes out with just a twist of the fingers – try that with any other “speed breech” system. Plus, the break-action breech opens easily with just a touch of the breeching button, which is located in the front of the trigger guard.
