Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The Carbon 15 is a series of pistols, carbines, and rifles that were developed by the now-defunct United States weapons manufacturer, Professional Ordnance. The design was later picked up by Bushmaster Firearms. The Carbon 15 models are closely based on the Colt AR-15 design. These weapons are unique because they are made of carbon fiber, which makes them extremely lightweight. Generally, the Carbon 15 models are chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO/.223 Remington, but there are also versions of the pistol and carbine chambered in 9×19mm Parabellum.
