The Golani Sporter, a semi-automatic adaptation of the renowned Israeli Galil rifle, exemplifies Century International Arms' commitment to delivering high-quality firearms to enthusiasts. This modern iteration, chambered in .223 Rem./5.56x45mm, pays homage to the original Galil's legacy while incorporating contemporary refinements. Designed to blend the robust reliability of the AK-47 with the precision of the .223 cartridge, the Galil first gained prominence in the early 1970s and was produced in various configurations by Israel Military Industries (IMI). Although eventually phased out by the Israeli military in favor of American rifles, the Galil's design continues to influence modern firearms.

The Golani Sporter retains many of the hallmark features of the original Galil, including a sturdy tubular steel folding stock and a durable milled receiver. Its ergonomics are enhanced by a vertically mounted fixed operating handle and an ambidextrous safety selector, allowing for ease of use by both right- and left-handed shooters. The rear sight, protected and adjustable for 300m and 500m distances, along with a windage and elevation adjustable front sight, offers precise aiming capabilities. The front sight includes a flip-up night sight, though the tritium lamps are no longer functional due to age.
