The Norinco Type 56S, manufactured in China at State Factory 66 and imported by Sile of New York, is a semi-automatic civilian variant of the iconic Soviet AK-47. The Type 56 was introduced in 1956 and served as a standard infantry rifle for the Chinese military for decades.
