This incredible example is 1 of just 1,000 ever made and were commissioned by the American Historical Foundation!

The Colt Rattlesnake is the only snake model to be a pistol and not revolver. The other snakes are all revolvers and are the Python, Diamondback, King Cobra, Cobra, Anaconda, Viper, and Boa. The Super Rare Rattlesnakes are known as the 8th snake and are highly coveted by collectors all over the world.
This gorgeous example was manufactured in 2010 and has the 5" barrel chambered for the timeless .45acp. It has a stainless frame with a beautiful Factory Bright Stainless slide that has highly detailed gold filled engraving on both sides! The engraving primarily features scroll banners entangled with a Rattlesnake that reads "Colt Rattlesnake Legacy Edition". The back of the slide also has "1 of 1,000" engraved on both sides!
This particular example also wears a pair of Genuine Rattlesnake Skin Grips with inlaid medallions that read "COLT LEGACY EDITION LIMITED EDITION". This incredibly unique 1911 is further accented by gold plated screws, slide release, safety, and hammer!
As you can see in our many High Resolution Photos, this 1911 is in PRISTINE condition with no indications of previous use and handling whatsoever! It will also ship with its original Certificate of Authenticity and its Original Wood Presentation Case!
