This is a TRUE Colt Second Generation Baby Dragoon, Black Powder. This is not the Signature Series. This gun has the continuation of serial numbers from the First Generation Guns. 31 Cal, Serial #16178. These are very hard to find. The Baby Dragoon is quite rare and very desirable. The "F" Series Colt Baby Dragoon was built from 1981-1982 with only 1,352 having been manufactured. The revolvers came with a 4 inch octagon barrel without a loading lever, five shot cylinder with roll engraved Texas Ranger and Indian scene, one piece walnut grips, "F" Series Colt blue finish on the barrel and cylinder, color case-hardening on the frame and hammer, and silver plated brass backstrap and trigger guard.

The owner states that this example remains consumer unfired and we see no evidence to indicate otherwise. It is showing no evidence of normal consumer use or handling that we can see. This example will ship with the matching factory labeled box and manual pictured above!
