The Colt Colteer 1-22 is a straightforward, well-finished single-shot bolt-action rimfire rifle that Colt marketed in the late 1950s and 1960s as an economical yet refined small-bore shooter. Built for Colt by Jefferson Arms (later produced by Kodiak for a short time), the Colteer was offered in .22 Long Rifle (and later .22 WMR) with barrel lengths commonly found in 20", 22", and 24" configurations, a plain walnut stock, and simple open sights or a drilled/tapped receiver for optics on some variants.
