Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
There were only 1000 of each model made and very few of these Deluxe Sets ever made. Included is the rare engraved First Edition and Second Edition Colt MKIV .380 pistols produced 1983-1984 and the Colt Presentation wood case made special for the set. The First Edition MKIV .380 is engraved and inlayed in gold. The rarely seen Second Edition MKIV is engraved and inlayed in silver. The Colt wood presentation case is labeled inside "Colt .380 Deluxe Set". Only 1000 of each First and Second Edition models were produced but a much lower number of these Deluxe Sets were put together by Colt and very few believed to be left in this condition.

These examples are in Phenomenal condition showing no evidence of consumer use or handling that we can see! These will ship with the Original Colt Presentation wood case seen above w/ inlaid velvet and a "Colt .380 Deluxe Set" plate made special for the set!
