TALO bought the last 600 XSE's from Colt - 300.45 cal. and 300 9mm. They have all the standard XSE features: Novak low-mount carry sights, full-length guide rods, special hammer and trigger. In the Last Cowboy tradition, we made these very special with dramatic deep relief Cattle Brand motif engraving on both sides of the stainless steel slides and carried over to the fancy walnut grips.

The Colt Government Series is a direct descendant of the original Colt M1911. A long trigger, flat mainspring housing, and original style recoil spring system remain from the original M1911 design. Upgrades from the original include white sights and a lowered ejection port for extra reliability. It still remains “the standard” that everyone tries to imitate, but no one duplicates.
