This example features a Certificate of Authenticity that certifies that the Baron Custom Shop of Trumbull, Connecticut, hand-engraved the following Colt Model 01970AICS .45 ACP, Serial Number: 73B2547. This exclusive Lew Horton Distributing Custom Elite Edition Colt features a high-polished slide, frame, and parts, along with a jeweled hammer and barrel. The slide is covered with sixty percent exquisite American scroll engraving on both sides and the rear panels, with additional engraving on both sides of the frame. Exceptional, one-of-a-kind wood and composite grip panels complete this unique masterpiece. An heirloom-quality creation, this Colt is sure to be cherished for generations to come.
According to the owner, this example was canceled after only about 23 guns were produced. However, we do not have the documents on hand to verify this.
