The Ortgies 7.65 mm pistol is a hammerless semi-automatic handgun that was produced in Germany during the years following World War I. Designed by Heinrich Ortgies, a German inventor and firearms designer, the pistol was initially manufactured by Ortgies’ own company before production was later taken over by Deutsche Werke, a prominent German firearms manufacturer.
