Built in response to customer demand, the Ed Brown Compact 1911 has an officer-sized frame for easy concealment and a 4.25-inch Commander model slide for a longer sight radius. This gun comes standard with the custom features one would expect on an Ed Brown 1911, like fully machined components and a lifetime written warranty.
 
The Ed Brown Compact 1911 boasts 25 LPI checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing, a fixed black rear sight and a red fiber optic front sight, black cherry VZ ETC grips (that have been interchanged for VZ G10 Gator Grips), matte-finished slide for low glare with “square cut” serrations on the rear of the slide, and a weight of 37 oz with an unloaded magazine inserted. “It is always exciting to add new models, and the new Compact 1911 really shows our customers that we are working to meet their needs,” John May, Ed Brown’s Sales and Marketing Director, said in a statement.

Any orders placed with magazines that are not compliant with your state, county, or city regulations will not ship with your order. 

We strive to ship orders within the close of the following business day after payment and documentation is received.

Please note we place a 7 business day hold on shipment, for all non-certified payments.
