Bryant Ridge's Analysis:
The FN Model 1924 series is a line of bolt-action rifles based on the Mauser Gewehr 98 pattern, designed and manufactured by the Belgian arms company Fabrique Nationale (FN). These rifles were similar in design to the Czech vz. 24 but featured an intermediate-length action of 215mm (8.46 inches), which differentiated them from the full-length Mauser actions. The FN Model 1924 rifles were chambered in a variety of calibers, including 7.65×53mm, 7×57mm, and 8×57mm IS, and were equipped with open sights for aiming. They were produced in several configurations, including Long Rifle, Short Rifle, and Carbine models, with hardwood stocks and options for straight or curved bolt handles.

One of the most notable historical aspects of the FN Model 1924 was its adoption by several countries, including Mexico. Mexico placed a significant order for this model in the early 1920s, and the rifle became one of the primary bolt-action rifles used by the Mexican military during the 1920s and 1930s. Mexican soldiers used the FN Model 1924 in a variety of roles during various military engagements in the early 20th century.
